The Importance of Rest (and Why We Forget It)
We often forget how important rest is. Slowing down is not a weakness — it’s a necessary part of feeling well and balanced.
ANASA Pilates Retreat is a mindful wellness experience designed to help you slow down, reconnect with your body, and reset your energy — through movement, nature, and authentic Greek experiences.
ANASA is an invitation to slow down and return to what truly matters — your breath, your body, and your inner balance. Through conscious movement, rest, and carefully selected experiences, we create space for renewal, clarity, and connection.
Ioanna is the Pilates instructor behind ANASA Retreat. With a calm and grounded approach to movement, she guides each session with care, presence, and attention to individual needs.
Her classes focus on conscious movement, breath, and alignment, creating a supportive space where participants can move with intention and reconnect with their bodies.
Time to slow down, move gently, and enjoy being present — without a busy schedule or pressure.
Our next ANASA Pilates Retreat will take place in Greece, from 17 to 24 May 2026.
It’s a small group retreat, focused on movement, rest, nature, and shared experiences — without rushing or strict schedules.
Daily Pilates, yoga, meditation, and sound healing sessions, time in nature, local activities, and plenty of space to rest and slow down.
More details about the program and location will be shared soon.
Thoughts on movement, rest, and retreat life.

We often forget how important rest is. Slowing down is not a weakness — it’s a necessary part of feeling well and balanced.

A retreat slows everything down. Movement feels easier, rest feels deeper, and you finally have time to listen to your body.

Pilates is not about pushing harder or doing more. It’s about how you move, how you breathe, and how connected you feel to your body.
