Breathe. Move. Reconnect.

Welcome to ANASA Pilates Retreat

ANASA is an invitation to slow down and return to what truly matters — your breath, your body, and your inner balance. More than a pilates retreat- a chance to experience Zakynthos through the eyes of a local. Through conscious movement, rest, and carefully selected experiences, we create space for renewal, clarity, and connection.

Pilates guided with presence and care

I’m Ioanna, the person behind Anasa. Originally from the island of Zakynthos and now based in Frankfurt, my journey into Pilates started with a simple need — to feel better in my body, to slow down, and to reconnect with myself. What began as something personal gradually became something I wanted to share.

My relationship with Pilates began more than a decade ago while searching for ways to manage chronic back pain. Over time, it transformed the way I moved and the way I connected with my body — and what started as a personal journey gradually became a passion and a profession.

Through Anasa, I bring together everything that feels true to me: mindful movement, the calmness of the sea, and the feeling of being away from noise and routine.

Anasa means “breath” — and that’s exactly what I hope to offer you.

Why ANASA?

Anasa means “breath” in Greek. I chose this name because it captures exactly what I want this experience to offer.
Breath is something that we often take for granted, yet it is one of the first things we lose when life becomes overwhelming. We rush through busy schedules, demands of everyday life and carrying stress to our bodies.
In Pilates, breath is one of the most fundamental principles. It helps us move with awareness, release tension and re connect with our bodies.
Anasa was born to create that space.
A space where you can slow down, enjoy nourishing food, swim in crystal clear waters.
Join me on the island I call home and experience Greece beyond the guidebooks. Throughout the week I will share my favorite places, local traditions, authentic food and the beauty of the island life that shaped me growing up.
Through pilates, local experiences, Greek hospitality and meaningful connections, my hope is that every guest leaves feeling lighter, calmer and an experience that feels real.
